In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wahama White Falcons basketball team scored a tight 44-37 triumph over the Point Pleasant Big Blacks.

In their next game, the White Falcons meet the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 2. Wahama will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Bison enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 37-26 league win over Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV).
