West Virginia High School Basketball - Point Pleasant trounces Calhoun

February 14, 2024: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV), 53-29 in Wednesday's league test.

The Big Blacks (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Nitro walloped Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV), 63-50, in a non-league test.

The Red Devils now possess a 1-18 record. They play next when they host Williamstown for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. Calhoun will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 67-39 non-league win over Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-4.
