Kentucky High School Basketball - Rockcastle County sneaks past East Jessamine
January 25, 2025: Mt. Vernon, KY 40456 The Rockcastle County Rockets basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting East Jessamine Jaguars to 58 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rockets now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Madison Central for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Rockcastle County will play a Indians team coming off a 80-63 non-league loss to Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY). The Indians record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, East Jessamine falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY) to play the Titans in a District 46 game on Tuesday, January 28.
