February 17, 2025: Nicholasville, KY 40356 Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY), 72-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wayne County advances its record to 10-12 on the year. The Cardinals host Lincoln County (Stanford, KY) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 16-10. Lincoln County lost 53-35 in their recent league match against Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY)
The Jaguars now own a 5-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Hills for a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. East Jessamine will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 78-73 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-20.
