Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East toppled by Neuqua Valley
January 25, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60585 Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) fans went home pleased Saturday as they observed their basketball team knock off the host Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL), 74-60 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Rochelle Zell Jewish dropped by North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL), 41-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bengals encounter the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Plainfield East will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 46-45 league loss to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL).
