Kansas High School Basketball - Salina Central holds off South

The Salina Central Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host South Cougars to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Andover for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II game on Thursday, January 30. Salina Central will confront a Trojans team coming off a 61-45 non-league loss to Great Bend (Great Bend, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, South falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS) to confront the Colts in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I game on Friday, January 31. The Colts go into the game with a record of 0-9.
