January 26, 2023: Old Bridge, NJ 08857 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Old Bridge Knights (Old Bridge, NJ) and the visiting J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ), saw Old Bridge's basketball squad hold off J.P. Stevens by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, Old Bridge improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Sayreville (Parlin, NJ) to confront the Bombers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Bombers come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Sayreville lost 78-57 in their recent league challenge against North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ)
Next up, the Hawks confront the East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Red challenge, on Saturday, January 28. J.P. Stevens will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 10-19 record after their 65-33 non-league win over Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ).
