New Jersey High School Basketball - J.P. Stevens ripped by St. Joseph
December 22, 2022: Metuchen, NJ 08840 The St. Joseph Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting J.P. Stevens Hawks to 43 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South River for a Greater Middlesex - Blue contest on Monday, December 26. St. Joseph will meet a Rams team coming off a 73-43 league win over Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 6-0.
The Hawks (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Perth Amboy Vo-Tech was routed by Somerset Tech (Bridgewater, NJ), 81-43, in a league contest.
