The Yellow Medicine East Sting basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles to 65 in the Sting league victory on Thursday.

The Sting now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Yellow Medicine East will battle a Falcons team coming off a 84-37 league win over Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 4-9.
