Minnesota High School Basketball - Canby fells Yellow Medicine East
January 31, 2023: Granite Falls, MN 56241 Canby Lancers (Canby, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), 68-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Canby upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Lancers host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN) to clash with the Knights in a A Section 3 bout on Friday, February 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 15-0. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton won 71-65 in their recent league bout against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN)
Next up, the Sting clash with the B O L D Warriors (Olivia, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Yellow Medicine East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 94-67 non-league win over Benson (Benson, MN).
