Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro tops Arcadia

January 26, 2023: Phoenix, AZ 85018

Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ), 61-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Saguaro upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Desert Sky bout on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 18-5. Mesquite won 46-45 in their recent league bout against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Titans play the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky bout, on Friday, January 27. Arcadia will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 73-10 league win over Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ).
