The Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Council Cobras (Council, VA), 76-16 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Montcalm was trounced by Independence (Coal City, WV), 47-13, in a non-league test.

The Cobras now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Honaker for a Black Diamond test on Friday, January 27. Council will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-6.
