Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) and the host Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA), saw Neshannock's basketball squad wallop Ellwood City by a tally of 62-34.

With the victory, Neshannock improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Lancers host Riverside (Ellwood City, PA) to confront the Panthers in a WPIAL 3A 1 challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-11.

Next up, the Wolverine confront the Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Ellwood City will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
