Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), 41-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Laguna Acoma upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Warriors play the Ramah Mustangs (Ramah, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Navajo Pine will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
