Georgia High School Basketball - Sequoyah fells Allatoona
January 26, 2024: Canton, GA 30115 Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA), 55-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Sequoyah upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Rome (Rome, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a AAAAAA Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Rome lost 51-43 in their recent league bout against Etowah (Woodstock, GA)
Next up, the Buccaneers clash with the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Allatoona will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 14-9 record after their 62-61 league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA).
