Idaho High School Basketball - Canyon Ridge holds off Minico
January 26, 2024: Twin Falls, ID 83301 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks (Twin Falls, ID) and the visiting Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID), saw Canyon Ridge's basketball squad hold off Minico by a tally of 43-39.
With the victory, Canyon Ridge improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Riverhawks travel to Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID) to confront the Bruins in a 4A Great Basin challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Twin Falls won 63-53 in their recent league challenge against Burley (Burley, ID)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Pocatello Thunder (Pocatello, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Minico will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 75-50 non-league loss to Madison (Rexburg, ID).
