Caro Tigers (Caro, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), 46-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Caro upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Tigers host Reese (Reese, MI) to clash with the Rockets in a Greater Thumb - West bout on Monday, January 29. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 7-6.

Next up, the Vulcans clash with the Kingston Cardinals (Kingston, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Vassar will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 75-43 league win over Caseville (Caseville, MI).
