Laker Lakers (Pigeon, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), 83-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Laker upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Lakers host Cass City (Cass City, MI) to clash with the Red Hawks in a Greater Thumb - West bout on Friday, February 16. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Cass City won 53-41 in their recent league bout against Reese (Reese, MI)

Next up, the Vulcans clash with the Capac Chiefs (Capac, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Vassar will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record.
