Ohio High School Basketball - Pickerington Central overwhelms Central Crossing
January 26, 2024: Pickerington, OH 43147 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH) and the visiting Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), saw Pickerington Central's basketball squad wallop Central Crossing by a count of 64-34.
With the victory, Pickerington Central upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH) to play the Cruisers in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10.
Next up, the Comets play the Mifflin Punchers (Columbus, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Central Crossing will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Punchers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 74-49 league loss to Beechcroft (Columbus, OH).
