Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Poca The Dots (Poca, WV), 48-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Chapmanville Regional upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to play the Wildcats in a Cardinal bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Nitro won 64-52 in their recent league bout against Winfield (Winfield, WV)

Next up, the The Dots play the Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Poca will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 52-34 non-league win over Roane County (Spencer, WV).
