Alabama High School Basketball - Collinsville knocked off by Section
January 26, 2024: Section, AL 35771 The Section Lions basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Collinsville Panthers to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitesburg Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Section will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-31 league win over Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 12-11.
The Panthers (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Head (Valley Head, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, Valley Head ran past Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL), 75-67, in a non-league contest.
