Indiana High School Basketball - East Central holds off Columbus East

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) and the visiting Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN), saw East Central's basketball squad hold off Columbus East by a tally of 43-41.

With the victory, East Central improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Aiken (Cincinnati, OH) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Aiken won 67-44 in their recent league challenge against Withrow (Cincinnati, OH)

Next up, the Olympians confront the Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Columbus East will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 65-62 non-league loss to Castle (Newburgh, IN).
