In Saturday's non-league outing, the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), by a margin of 58-51.

The Trojans (12-12) will now prepare for their outing against Greensburg (Greensburg, IN). The Pirates go into the Eastern Indiana outing with a 15-7 record.

The Golden Bears now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Seymour for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 20. Shelbyville will clash with a Owls squad coming off a 48-40 non-league win over Greensburg (Greensburg, IN). The Owls record now stands at 16-4.
