Indiana High School Basketball - East Central thwarts Connersville

The East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN), 48-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Trojans (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Indiana test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Batesville notched a victory over Rushville (Rushville, IN), 44-36, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to New Palestine for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Connersville will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 72-52 league win over Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 16-4.
