Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) and the visiting Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), saw Middle Creek's basketball squad overcome Green Hope by a tally of 61-47.

With the victory, Middle Creek improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to confront the Patriots in a 4A Southeast Wake challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 13-4.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) in a 4A Southeast Wake challenge, on Tuesday, January 30.
