January 30, 2024: Apex, NC 27539 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) and the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), saw Apex Friendship's basketball squad hold off Middle Creek by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, Apex Friendship improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Green Hope (Cary, NC) to play the Falcons in a 4A Southeast Wake challenge on Friday, February 2. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Green Hope lost 82-49 in their recent league challenge against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) in a 4A Southeast Wake challenge, on Friday, February 2. Middle Creek will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 82-49 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC).
