Lower Dauphin Falcons (Hummelstown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), 61-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Lower Dauphin upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Falcons host Palmyra (Palmyra, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a Mid-Penn - Keystone bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Palmyra lost 50-35 in their recent non-league bout against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Mifflin County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 68-24 league loss to Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA).
