Texas High School Basketball - McGregor crushes Rockdale
January 26, 2024: McGregor, TX 76657 McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX), 70-38 in a league bout.
With the win, McGregor upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Troy (Troy, TX) to play the Trojans in a 3A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 16-11. Troy won 62-46 in their recent league bout against Lexington (Lexington, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Rockdale will attempt to upgrade on its 5-23 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 62-31 league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX).
