Iowa High School Basketball - Southeast Warren over Southwest Valley
January 26, 2024: Liberty Center, IA 50145 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA) and the visiting Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), saw Southeast Warren's basketball squad overcome Southwest Valley by a tally of 67-53.
With the victory, Southeast Warren improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to East Union (Afton, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Pride of Iowa challenge on Monday, January 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. East Union lost 58-43 in their recent league challenge against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA)
Next up, the confront the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Southwest Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 50-47 league win over Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA).
