Virginia High School Basketball - Stuarts Draft crushes Waynesboro
January 26, 2024: Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 52-20 in a league bout.
With the victory, Stuarts Draft upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to play the Bison in a Shenandoah bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bison come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Buffalo Gap lost 74-41 in their recent league bout against Staunton (Staunton, VA)
Next up, the Little Giants play the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a Shenandoah bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Waynesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Green Hornets come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 80-48 league win over Riverheads (Staunton, VA).
