January 23, 2024: Waynesboro, VA 22980 Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 65-23 in a league bout.
With the win, Staunton upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Storm travel to Riverheads (Staunton, VA) to clash with the Gladiators in a Shenandoah bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Riverheads lost 59-48 in their recent league bout against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)
Next up, the Little Giants clash with the Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA) in a Shenandoah bout, on Friday, January 26. Waynesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 59-48 league win over Riverheads (Staunton, VA).
