Virginia High School Basketball - Staunton overwhelms Buffalo Gap
January 26, 2024: Staunton, VA 24401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) and the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), saw Staunton's basketball squad wallop Buffalo Gap by a count of 74-41.
With the victory, Staunton upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Broadway (Broadway, VA) to play the Gobblers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Gobblers come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Broadway won 34-31 in their recent league challenge against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)
Next up, the Bison play the Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA) in a Shenandoah challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Buffalo Gap will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 52-20 league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
