Virginia High School Basketball - Wilson Memorial trounces Buffalo Gap
January 10, 2024: Swoope, VA 24479 The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) basketball crushed the host Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), 85-37 in Wednesday's league test.
The Green Hornets (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm go into the Shenandoah test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Staunton was trounced by Heritage (Lynchburg, VA), 54-51, in a non-league test.
The Bison now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Defiance for a Shenandoah test on Friday, January 12. Buffalo Gap will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 105-95 league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Indians record now stands at 5-6.
