January 23, 2024: Fort Defiance, VA 24437 The Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA), 90-68 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Alleghany was trounced by Radford (Radford, VA), 50-48, in a league test.
The Green Hornets now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Riverheads for a Shenandoah test on Friday, January 26. Wilson Memorial will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 67-28 league loss to Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-14.
