Missouri High School Basketball - Van Horn trounces University Academy Charter
January 26, 2024: Kansas City, MO 64131 The Van Horn Falcons (Independence, MO) basketball crushed the host University Academy Charter Gryphons (Kansas City, MO), 74-48 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO). The Griffins go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Winnetonka was trounced by Benton (St. Joseph, MO), 58-56, in a non-league test.
The Gryphons now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Summit Christian Academy for a Crossroads test on Tuesday, January 30. University Academy Charter will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 92-28 non-league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 17-6.
