Missouri High School Basketball - Van Horn knocked off by St. Michael the Archangel
February 9, 2024: Independence, MO 64053 The St. Michael the Archangel Guardians basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Van Horn Falcons to 47 in the Guardians league triumph on Friday.
The Guardians now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Christian Academy for a Crossroads contest on Monday, February 12. St. Michael the Archangel will battle a Eagles team coming off a 78-40 non-league win over Lone Jack (Lone Jack, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 18-6.
The Falcons (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Barstow (Kansas City, MO). The Knights enter the Crossroads contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Barstow ran past University Academy Charter (Kansas City, MO), 60-29, in a league contest.
