The Escanaba Eskymos basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Calumet Copper Kings to 42 in the Eskymos non-league victory on Friday.

The Eskymos now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marquette for a Great Northern U.P. contest on Wednesday, January 31.

The Copper Kings (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Western Peninsula contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Hancock triumphed over Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI), 36-35, in a non-league contest.
