In Friday's league outing, the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC), by a margin of 79-27.

The Braves (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Wildcats go into the 1A Smoky Mountain outing with a 8-8 record.

The Black Knights now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Murphy for a 1A Smoky Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 30. Robbinsville will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 51-47 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-12.
