Alabama High School Basketball - Excel ripped by Thomasville
January 26, 2024: Excel, AL 36439 The Thomasville Tigers basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Excel Panthers to 16 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarke County for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Thomasville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-32 league win over Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-12.
The Panthers (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Thomasville (Thomasville, AL). The Tigers enter the 3A Area 5 contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Thomasville was routed by Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL), 40-36, in a non-league contest.
