Game Story

California High School Basketball - Liberty overwhelms Freedom

January 26, 2024: Brentwood, CA 94513

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) and the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), saw Liberty's basketball squad wallop Freedom by a tally of 61-39.

With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Antioch (Antioch, CA) to confront the Panthers in a Bay Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-11. Antioch lost 71-45 in their recent league challenge against Heritage (Brentwood, CA)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) in a Bay Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 56-25 league win over Deer Valley (Antioch, CA).
