The Freedom Falcons basketball team (Oakley, CA), was overwhelmed 57-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA)

The Lions now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antioch for a Bay Valley battle on Friday, January 12. Liberty will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-21 league loss to Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-10.

The Falcons (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates come into the Bay Valley battle with a 5-9 record.
