Maryland High School Basketball - Westminster falls to Linganore
January 26, 2024: Westminster, MD 21157 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Linganore Lancers basketball team scored a good 53-44 triumph over the Westminster Owls.
In their next game, the Lancers meet the South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD) in a Central Maryland match, on Tuesday, January 30. Linganore will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 0-12 record after their 42-29 league loss to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD).
With the defeat, Westminster moves to 12-5 on the year. The Owls host Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD) to meet the Mavericks in a Carroll County match on Tuesday, January 30. The Mavericks enter the match with a record of 8-8. Manchester Valley lost 49-28 in their recent league match against South Carroll (Sykesville, MD)
