January 23, 2024: Frederick, MD 21701 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) and the host Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD), saw Oakdale's basketball squad wallop Linganore by a tally of 56-35.
With the victory, Oakdale improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The travel to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD) to play the Patriots in a Central Maryland challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Next up, the Lancers play the Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Linganore will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 53-29 non-league win over Glenelg (Glenelg, MD).
