Maryland High School Basketball - Linganore overwhelms Urbana
December 8, 2023: Ijamsville, MD 21754 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) and the host Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD), saw Linganore's basketball squad wallop Urbana by a tally of 58-35.
With the victory, Linganore improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD) to confront the Patriots in a Central Maryland challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Governor Thomas Johnson lost 48-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Churchill (Potomac, MD)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Urbana will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 63-53 non-league loss to Longwood Prep Academy (Bronx, NY).
