The Normal Community Ironmen basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Peoria Lions to 49 in the Ironmen league victory on Friday.

The Ironmen now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet West for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Normal Community will battle a Tigers team coming off a 58-52 league win over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-9.

The Lions (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Rocks come into the non-league contest with a 8-16 record. In their last contest, Rock Island edged Geneseo (Geneseo, IL), 53-43, in a league contest.
