The Lincoln Prep Lightning basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Superior Panthers to 20 in the Lightning league triumph on Thursday.

The Lightning now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayden for a 1A East contest on Friday, January 28. Lincoln Prep will meet a Lobos team coming off a 59-55 non-league win over Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ). The Lobos record now stands at 12-4.

The Panthers (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ). The Spartans enter the 1A East contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Leading Edge Academy - GEC was routed by Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ), 67-65, in a non-league contest.
