January 27, 2023: Severn, MD 21144 In Friday's non-league outing, the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) basketball squad felled the visiting Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD), by a margin of 63-45.
The Cavaliers (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Gaels go into the MIAA A - Red outing with a 24-3 record. In their last outing, Mount St. Joseph thwarted Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD), 82-35, in a non-league outing.
The Dons now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Calvert Hall for a MIAA A - Black outing on Monday, January 30. Loyola Blakefield will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 82-35 non-league loss to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-12.
