Iowa High School Basketball - Assumption fells Clinton
January 27, 2023: Davenport, IA 52804 Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), 64-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Assumption upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA) to clash with the Muskies in a Mississippi bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Muskies go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Muscatine lost 63-60 in their recent league bout against Davenport North (Davenport, IA)
Next up, the River Kings clash with the Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi bout, on Friday, February 3. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record.
