Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mt. Lebanon edges Baldwin
January 27, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15236 The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball nipped the host Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA), 50-49 in Friday's league test.
The Blue Devils (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans go into the WPIAL 6A 2 test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Hempfield Area got by Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA), 67-65, in a league test.
The Highlanders now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Mars for a non-league test on Sunday, January 29. Baldwin will encounter a Fightin' Planets squad coming off a 73-72 league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 12-4.
