Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mt. Lebanon trounces Hempfield Area
January 6, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15228 The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), 69-36 in Friday's league test.
The Blue Devils (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Panthers go into the WPIAL 6A 2 test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Upper St. Clair walloped Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 62-56, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Canon-McMillan for a WPIAL 6A 2 test on Tuesday, January 10.
